what the intended interaction between a Jenkins Build and a Build in RTC

Raj Kumar (21216) | asked Sep 07 '20, 7:47 a.m.

we have a use case in our CI environment where users abort/abandon builds in RTC.

The expectation would be that the corresponding build on Jenkins is also immediately getting aborted/cancelled.

But this is currently not the case in our environment.
I also checked the Jenkins plugin docu but couldn’t find any information regarding this behavior: https://plugins.jenkins.io/teamconcert/

I would not make the assumption that a build that is picked up by Jenkins will be abandoned or cancelled by simply doing that to the RTC build request.
