If we register adapter using either of the Kerberos/SSL Certificate/Smartcard authentication type, can our adapter code get back the ETM username mapped to the auth mechanism?

 I'm not totally familiar with what you're aksing, but I assume your adapter is talking to the server via http requests. In that case, the currently logged in user URL will be revealed by this:

https://qmserver:port/qm/whoami
