RQM: Linking one child test plan to multiple master test plan

Sunil Kumar (2719) | asked Jun 08 '20, 2:54 a.m.
Hello,

I have a question concerning an RQM limitation that we are observing.
We are using test plans and master test plans to structure our test cases.
There is a limitation that a test plan can only be assigned as a child to one master test plan. We would need to assign it to more than one master test plan.
Is this something that can be changed by configuration or is this a tool limitation?

Thank a lot for your suggestion and support.

Regards,
Sunil

 Hi Sunil,

Technically its not possible. Ideally One test plan can have multiple child plans, however cannot have multiple Parent Test Plans.

Hope this helps,
Krupa Gunhalkar

Parent child relationships are usually implemented as 0..1 to n.
