Uninstall DOORS Web Access 9.7

Sean F (1.3k243149) | asked May 23 '20, 12:22 p.m.

Does anybody know how to uninstall DOORS Web Access 9.7?

The DWA 9.7 installer is a command line installer.

This is different to previous versions which were regular GUI based installers IIRC

It installs to the path

C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS Web Access\9.7.0.0

It does not create an entry in the list of installed apps on the host machine so it cannot be uninstalled that way

There is no other apparent way to uninstall.

The only instructions I can find online are at

https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/doors-and-doors-web-access-97#INSTALL

This section does not mention anything about uninstalling.

Is the installer maybe just an unzipper and uninstallation is just deleting the install folder?

I found the instructions for 9.6.1

It says to just delete the folder:-

On the computer that hosts the web access server, remove that server by deleting the DOORS Web Access directory. By default, that directory is in this location: C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\DOORS Web Access.

So I am guessing that will work for 9.7

If you created a scheduled task to run the DWA processes, don't forget to disable\delete that task as well.
