 Hi fellows,


is there a way to directly update the Installation Manager from 1.8.x to 1.9.x?
Or a documentation, how to achieve this update?

 Ah, try&error. :-D

Just download the installation package for the IM, unzip this and run the install.exe on the client.

 Hi Georg,

Yes you can directly update the Installation Manager from 1.8x to 1.9.x.

1)Open IM -->Navigate to File-->Preferences-->Updates-->Select the Check Box ->Search for installation Manager  updates-->Apply(OK)

2)Now Select Install Software Packages-->A Pop-up will be displayed for updating the IM.

 This is only valid if you are updating from 1.8.9.5 to 1.8.9.6 or 1.9.0.0 to 1.9.0.1 but not from 1.8 to 1.9.
