RQM - Timelines - the need of it

Parameswaran V (10016) | asked Oct 20 '19, 1:53 p.m.

Pre-dominant of the work activities management is done via RTC (for all teams, including test team). I see that within RQM, as part of 'Test Plan' we can link with the 'Timeline/Iteration' of the RTC - which is good.

However, i still do not understand the role of 'Timeline' within RQM.
Is that for a purpose, which is not very evident.

Timelines and iterations are used in test schedule section of test plan. You can create development timeline and add iteration into it and then based on that can manage test plan.

Thank you.

In that case, can i export the timelines/Iterations from RTC and use the same names in QM As well. (Instead of re-creating them manually)
