Hello,

I have created a Team area for project area and the "permissions" are inherited.

The "permissions" to modify a workitem custom attribute for the Role "Team Member" is granted at the project area, but when I try to edit this attribute it is "read only" for Team Member Role.

I am able to edit the same attribute with "Product Owner" role.

Confused with this behaviour, any help is appreciated

 Read-only is not a function of permissions. Permission would be indicated by "You do not have the permission to modify...". So you might want to be more precise what you see.
