How do I get a Kanban Board

I have created a project with scrum template, but Kanban is not an option. Is this a separate module I need to purchase? Or is there more than just the template required?

Kanban is only a special plan view and not its own template.

Problem is the article says click Plans > Sprint Kanban Board... but that option is not there under plans. I'll try the second method of manually adding a Kanban Board. Not hopeful since it didn't look like it was available yesterday. This is why I though maybe I needed an addon I didn't have or something.

You have to edit the plan views. See https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.team.apt.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_create_pla_nmode_web.html

Sorry, didn't realize the help did not point to a useful source.

A plan has plan views. Kanban is one of the display options.
