JRS Report privacy setting is not honoured when it is added to dashboard widget

We have graph type JRS reports with privacy setting marked as Private. When the report is added to the project area dashboard, users other that the creator of the report see the graph report. However, when the report is set to Table view, the privacy setting is honoured and users do not see the report.


Why is this behavior ?

The behavior wherein the graph report is visible to users without privilege to view it has been raised as a defect

As a precaution, we suggest to refrain from adding private reports to dashboard which are public.
