Import Stream Names across different Project Areas

Hi,

Is it possible to import stream names from a pre-defined list across different project areas?


The reason being, we are thinking of more project areas and having common naming for the streams based on Customer and Release info.

You posted this against RTC and RQM ... did you want an answer for both (if so, probably best to submit two separate questions).   Also, you'll want to provide more context for the question ... for example:

Where are you storing the Customer and Release info?
What do you want to have happen if more than one stream needs to be created in a project area?
Do you just want to script this, or do you somehow want to affect the behavior of the GUI "create stream" operation?

Hi Kalyan,


Unfortunately, this is not supported.  However, you can use the RQM Reportable REST API (https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi) to create/update streams/baselines (see https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/RqmApi#Resources_and_their_Supported_Op).
