Can not connect to jabber (openfire) server

Mark Prout (11) | asked Jan 11 '08, 12:30 p.m.
Hi, upon completion of the 'Add IM Account' form the OK button does not become available (RTC 1.0Beta2 Windows). No errors are reported on the form and all information is correct. The details are below;

Provider: Jabber XMPP Server
Server: <correct IP address>
Port: 5222
Authentication: <user account that exists on the openfire server>

There are no more fields to enter. Any ideas why the OK button does not become available?

This works for me if I'm specifying a correct user ID and password. You

have to specify a password.

If this still does not work, please file a bug with exact steps to
reproduce to the Foundation/Collaboration component.

Cheers,
Tobias

I had the same problem until I realized I needed to expand the window to see the password field also

Could you please report a work item to make developers aware that the window has to be changed? It would be great if you could attach the screenshot with the mentioned window to make it easier to see where the problem is.

kind regards,
Jakub
