RQM- Not able to pick data from multiple configurations in one widget

Preetha T (27225) | asked Jan 22 '19, 6:02 a.m.

In Rqm, one project area is created with configuration enabled. Diesel_CRDi_150 % stream and project streams are created like S201, U321 etc.,

We need dashboard like Across different streams it should pick the data in one widget in a pie-chart view.

For e.g S201 how many test cases are there, In U321 how many test cases are there we need this data in one widget.

In RQM, currently Configuration is picking one stream only...and jrs also we explored..not able to pick stream specific data..

Is there any possibility to do this..through gc also we tried but that also its not picking multiple configurations.

JAZZ DEVELOPER

Hi Preetha,

We cannot fetch data from multiple configurations in a single widget. This is how the design has been.
If you need to pull a report across multiple configurations, in your case for example, S201, U321 etc, create widgets accordingly on the dashboard and select one configuration each for a dashboard widget. So you will end up with multiple widgets for multiple configurations on the dashboard.

Same thing can be done via JRS as well. At a time, you can select/build a report on a particular Local Configuration or a global configuration. However you can create many such reports by selecting different configurations each time.

Hope this helps,

 Hi krupa,

We understood that it can able to select a single configuration . But we need comparison of different projects data in a single widget in pie-chart format. In this case what is the possibility to achieve this?

Thanks.
