How to hide port number on Linux operating system

Hello Team, 


What are the steps to hide port number for jts on Linux operation system? I did for Windows operating system but where as in Linux platform need a steps to proceed with my activity.

Do you intend to configure a reverse proxy topology with JTS and a HTTP server (namely, IHS or Apache) on Linux?

This is actually an application-related issue, rather than an operating system one.
Did you encounter any specific problem while trying to set it up on Linux that you didn't on Windows?

As far as  I know this is true for every operating system that supports TCP/IP.

  1. Use a well known port for the http protocol when setting up the proxy/app server - 443 is the well known port for HTTPS
  2. Don't specify the port in the public URI when you specify it
