Is there some documentation that explains the constraints of the Clearcase to RTC importer? I am most interested in if the importer will work with Clearcase 2003, and importing into RTC 2.0.

Hi

I am pretty sure you will need to use CC v7.1. v7 and earlier are not supported.

There is a relatively new article on the importer here that you may find useful:

The ClearCase Importer (and the ClearCase Synchronizer, upon which the
Importer is based) work with CC Version 7.0 and later ... (i.e. v7 is
supported).

But ClearCase 2003 is V6 version of ClearCase, and the CC Importer does
not work with CC V6. (Note: Support for CC 2003 was discontinued in
September 2008).
