How to develop operational advisor plugins with RTC 6.0.3?

Rinkal Garg (1719) | asked May 30 '18, 1:56 a.m.

I am trying to develop the plugin using RTC client, But there I am not able to find the jar "com.ibm.team.process.service". I have downloaded plain Java client libraries But it is not existing there also. Can anyone please let me know how I could resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Operational Advisor plugins are server side code. Please cp. the RTC Extension Workshop: https://jazz.net/library/article/1000 and Ralph Schoons Blog: https://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2013/03/14/what-apis-are-available-for-rtc-and-what-can-you-extend/

In there you will also find concrete examples of how to write client side plugins (for Eclipse or Build Toolkit). However Operational Advisors are always server side code that need to be deployed on the server and written against the server side part of the SDK.

If this helps please mark the anwer as accepted.
