Plan views - what determines what views display in the plan view drop down

nannette Mori (50572) | asked May 01 '18, 9:21 a.m.

I have 2 plans both increment type plans, however in 1 plan I have more view choices than I do in ,my other plan even though both plans are increment plans?

The plan Views display are Backlog, IMS Content, Sprint, Kanban, Ranked List, Sprints and work Breakdown.  In the other plan all those views display with the exception of Sprint and Backlog.  The owner of the plans would like to be have the ability to select Sprint and Backlog for his other report, however those view types are not available in the view drop down.  What determines what views are available in the dropdown?  As I stated both plans are increment plans.

If you go to Eclipse client and open the project area there,
then Process Configuration > Configuration Data > Planning > Plan Types, you can see the available plan types.
Select a plan type and the right hand field should allow you to add/remove plan views.

I hope this helps.
