Quick query syntax

Mark Cocker (4687) | asked Oct 02 '09, 12:36 p.m.
I would like to use the search box in the RTC V2 Client to find all work
items of a particular type such as Epic.

According to the "Quick query syntax" topic in the information center...
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rtc/v2r0m0/topic/com.ibm.team.apt.doc/topics/r_quick_query_syntax.html
it says I should be able to specify "attribute:value" so I tried
"type:Epic" but that doesn't work as expected.

I realise I can create a custom query to do this, but I would like to
use the search box as it is quicker.

Regards,
Mark.

The quick query syntax is currently supported in plans as a filtering
mechanism.

It is not yet supported in the trim search box that currently runs a
fulltext query on the repository.
