Is clustered JVM(s) supported in CLM 6.0.4?

Getting help from in-house WAS team to install 6.0.4 JTS and RTC on same host: Another of their questions was if IBM support JVM clusters.

If so, is this part of I BM's HA/DR strategy?
Pls point me to the right docs if there are relevant docs which I should have read.

I believe you are talking about the CCM Clustering offered in RTC 6.0.4. You can see the below documents for details.
https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-team-concert/releases/6.0.4?p=news (the first new feature)
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSYMRC_6.0.4/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/c_ccm_cluster.html
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Deployment/ChangeAndConfigurationManagementClusteredEnvironment

It is slightly different than the traditional HA/DR and I believe a cold standby is still the recommended way for HA/DR.

If the question is raised by the WAS team, then be careful not to be confused with the clustering feature offered by WebSphere (which we tried to use in older CLM versions).

Late Thx, Don.

We finally got a meeting with IBM support to ask this question, which actually is : "Wouild CLM continues to run, when the JVMs happen to be clustered" -- we are not looking for a DR/HA solution ---

The answer seemed to be, OK, with some reservation, as long as we keep using the same instance.
