I would like to query all defects where my user name is mentioned in the comments section. Present we have the facility to get mails whenever user name is mentioned in the comments. Instead of checking many mails I would like to use query.

Hi,
simply use "Full Text" "contains" "@YourUserId" in your regular work item query. The comments field is in the complete Lucene index so you could use the @YourUserId (e.g. @abister) in the Quicksearch field as well.
