Version control the Desing

Denes Elo (1529) | asked Nov 10 '17, 3:56 a.m.

In my design management I have some model and diagrams (IBD, BDD, state-charts,...). I edit them in Rational Rhapsody, and can access in web view.

How is it possible to use a version control to these models. I know that I need to use streams, change sets, baselines but I do not know how to use them. Do you know any useful material?
I need to create and work with branches, I need to revers changes and I need to cherry piking from other branches. Is it possible to solve this problem with these tools?
Thanks for your help!

 Denes,

looking ahead please familiarize yourself with the SCM features of Rational Team Concert as the RMM is based on that: https://jazz.net/blog/index.php/2017/10/30/mbse-across-the-lifecycle-introducing-rhapsody-model-manager/

If you are bound to DM you can use the inherent versioning as described in the documentation at https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.4/com.ibm.team.vvc.doc/topics/c_node_managing_change.html?pos=2

Please find an introduction to the topic at https://jazz.net/library/article/1492
Feel free to ask more after you read it.

If this is helpful please mark the answer as accepted.
