JRS -> Weirdness with data.

Mahari Hill (4861167230) | asked Oct 02 '17, 9:29 p.m.

CLM 602
DCC, no LQE installed.

DCC currently runs nightly. Works in most cases for most reports fine. However,

There is a group that does an export of DNG to excel every two weeks. I asked why not do the report in JRS? We tried and got the following:

DNG view export = 100 requirements
JRS export on same criteria = 112 requirements

When we look at the 12 requirements, they are either:

  1. You click on the requirement and it has stuff like last modified = Dec 1969
  2. You click on a requirement and get an error that it cannot be viewed b/c of permissions or may have been deleted
  3. You click on the requirement and it displays fine, but you can't bring the requirement up in any search or query in DNG. Only if you put the URL in the browser. (so if it's Req 1234 you can't do any search for 1234.)
This has been happening for weeks, only these 12 are there. No other weird ones. So next week the totals will be 200 requirements via DNG and 212 via JRS for example.

Any idea on what to do with this strange data and why they appear in JRS, but not DNG?

thanks

Hello Mahari,

this is probably due to the issue with deleted artifact not marked as soft deleted described here:

Data warehouse reports are showing links to deleted artifacts
https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.rational.dcc.doc/topics/c_dcc_dw_links.html

In the help page you can also find the instructions on how to fix it.
