hi,

I have created a new work flow (duplicating the Default work flow) to monitor software functions to be passed during testing phase. when associating the custom work flow, in WI its shows as 1 in the status bar.

How can I associate the duplicated work flow with work item type.

Hi Shruti, do you see an error when you associate a custom workflow to custom workitems?


All you need to do is change/ select the workflow required for the workitem type and save changes.

It looks like you have switched the workflow for existing work items, which is strongly discouraged. If it's indeed the case, you will not be able to see the label of the state, and cannot invoke any actions against the work item, due to mismatching in the new work flow.
