Hello RTC v6.0.3 is there a way when creating a work item to set a parent as the default.
I would like the parent for a new  work item preset for an existing parent? IS there a way to set this up in RTC?

Not out of the box, except you create a work item as a child in the links section or a plan. It would be possible to create a follow up action. Since there is very few information available when creating a work item in general, I doubt the requirements here are well understood or even practical.
