In RTC eclipse you can swtich workspace by clicking on "File -> Switch workspace".

How do you switch workspaces on RTC VisualStudio IDE ? I don't see any drop down menu option.

Guidance much appreciated.

This can be done from the Team Artifacts view in Visual studio.
To open the Team Artifacts View, Go to Team Concert ->Windows-> Team Artifacts
You can find your Sandbox history under the Sandboxes node. You can right click on them and set a Sandbox. Right click on the Sandboxes node to add a new Sandbox.

This is really a Visual Studio question. The RTC SCM component allows you to have multiple sandboxes being loaded and switching between the sandboxes. I find this even better than the Eclipse workspace switch.
