shiran shem tov (1211114) | asked Sep 14 '09, 10:24 a.m.
How can i upgarde exiting server version:
RTC enterprise 2.0
to RTC ifix1 without deleting my data?

When i copy the new folders of ifix1 instead of the existing server folders, the data is deleted.
When i keep the repository folder i see the data but i can't logon with the users.
I am using the derby database.

Please help
Thanks,
shiran

Hi

The safest way to upgrade is to use the Installation Manager - but if you have been using the zip files, then you need to keep a copy of the repositoryDB directory and the tomcat-users.xml file before you unzip the new fixes.

The release notes for the iFix should describe this (and any other steps I might have forgotten)
