 Hello, 

I have an user with role that in theory and looking the list of permissions just can create Work Items, but in someway is changing the values of an enumeration, so when somebody else the drop downs menus attributes connected with this enumeration can see the new values added by this user, in his roles, can't modify the process description and can't modify enumerations, any idea how this happen?

 There are two types of enumerations 

  1. Enumeration stored in the process configuration
  2. Enumeration stored in the database
For the second option, the permissions are controlled in the Work Item permission section.
For the first option the user would require to have the permission to save the process configuration

Users usually have multiple roles (everyone plus the ones given i the process area) and permissions aggregate.

 both are in denied and the user is able to change them using a template that has the an old value.

This comment makes no sense at all. A template can not be changed by a user and even if, would not have effect on the project area process.

There is also no information that would help trying to narrow down what is actualy happening. You do not explain what type the specific enumeratiuon is. If it is stored in the process configuration, there is also a lack of information what the process specification history shows - which would indicate the user actually was able to save it.

As all this information is missing, I suspect that there is a lack of understanding how roles and permissions work and what actually is happening and where to look for clues. In any case there is no way to help with no information.
