Plugins Versions and qualifiers management within RTC

hi,

i am working in team that develop an eclipse based application.

We recently migrated our development infrastructure to RTC and we are now looking for a way to automatically manage our plug-ins versions/qualifiers so that only the plug-ins that changed between our releases/snapshots get increased.

what would be the best way to automatically detect if any changes occurred within a given folder structure between a given date/snapshot/baseline and the present?
