Reqif import performance and status

Erik Herzog (115) | asked Jan 16 '17, 9:50 a.m.

WE are importing a few reqif files from DOORS to DOORS next. The files are small in size - just 500k. The files have been uploaded and the import is running in the background. All seems to be fine, but is there a way to check progress? What is the system doing in the background? We can't find any way of making the system show this information. After 1h, we still have not seem and success in the import.

Also, more than 1h for a 500kb import is not exactly lightning fast...

The dialog is the only way that I am aware of to monitor the import progress. If you close it, I don't know any other ways to achieve the same.

Also, measuring the content complexity simply by the size of a file is a bit too simplistic. If the file contains only one requirement artifact, of course you can expect "lightning fast" speed. But if it contains 50K requirement artifacts, you can expect a long time for it to import all of them.
