RTC java api, synchronize attributes not working

Hello,

we are developing a framework for performing project area maintenance.

In this we are executing two steps in sequence:
1. Switch the process master
2. Synchronize attributes (code from rsjazz post used https://rsjazz.wordpress.com/2012/11/19/using-an-expression-to-synchronize-attributes-for-work-items-of-a-specific-type/)

This used to work but now we have the effect, that the synchronize attributes does not work anymore.
The steps are executed normally but the work items are not touched.

Synchronizing attributes via eclipse client is working.

We are using the api version 6.0.2

I am not sure what could have changed. I would consider to approach support. That part of the API is supported and if it worked before and now doe not, I'd count that as a bug.
