Integration with HP UFT and Loadrunner (TruClient)

Ricky Jay (28926) | asked Dec 19 '16, 7:48 a.m.
There is a requirement and we have to integrate RQM with HP tools (UFT and Load Runner)

Currently, In the test script type there is no option for the UFT and Load Runner scripts., Is it only appears when we setup the adapters for HP tool?

Is there any documentation on integrating these tools with RQM and what versions are supported with RQM 6.0.

Looking forward to have a quick support and suggestions.

Hi Ricky,
RQM do not have direct options to run UFT or Load Runner Scripts. Yes, RQM manages the external tools' scripts ( such as these ) via specific adapters.
You can get more information about these Adapters with following links -

Load Runner and QTP/UFT (QTP and UFT would have same adapter) -
  1. https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/index.jsp?re=1&topic=/com.ibm.rqm.adapter.loadrunner.ua/html/topics/rqm_loadrunner_execution_results_overview.html&scope=null
  2. And a more recent documentation is ( post 603 ) is http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_6.0.3/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc/com.ibm.rational.test.qm.doc_eclipse-gentopic1.html
Also - for look for all the installation and supported version information for RQM 6.0 from here - https://jazz.net/downloads/rational-quality-manager/releases/6.0?p=allDownloads    ( look for Extras Section ).

Thanks,
Abhishek

 Hi Abhishek,

Thanks for the response,

Can you confirm one thing, I don't see any HP Loadrunner or QTP script option in the RQM Script where we can select the sript type.

Secondly, Can it be integrated with HP Performance center as well?
