Version RTC 5.0.2
Is there a way to change to the order of the text compare windows in the compare editor where the editable window is on the right an the read-only window is on the left.

Is it configurable?

The compare editor that is used by RTC is actually a compare editor provided by Eclipse.
Unfortunately there is no way currently to swap the left and right editor panes.

I see this enhancement is tracked here: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=213780
It looks like this is scheduled to be included in Eclipse 4.6.2; however at the moment there has been no testing or official statement saying that RTC fully supports Eclipse 4.6.2 (Although I'm sure that is soon to come...)

Feel free to try installing RTC into Eclipse 4.6.2 (via a p2 install) and report back if everything works as expected, or if there are any issues, it can't hurt to mention them here too...

Some of our users are using Eclipse Neon, it has the ability to switch the diff compare panels.
