Selected Value not applicable red x symbol - clm 602

Liney Reis (139) | asked Nov 18 '16, 12:08 p.m.
Hello,

We have some Java Script customized Attributes (Script Based Value Set) that works perfectly in RTC 5.02.

Now we´ve migrated to 6.02 and all these Attributes have a red "x" symbol in front of it, with the tag "The Selected Value not is applicable".

The attributes are Small String typed and the field presentation are "Value Set picker" kind.

Were there any changes in the Java Script/dojo specs from 5.02 to 6.02?

Thanks a lot

I doubt any specification changes could cause this, but we will see. Have you done any debugging to confirm that the Value Set still returns the correct set of values in CLM 602? The error seems to suggest that fewer or even no values are returned by the script.

I´ve just figured out what is happening.

We have an Advisor that changes the selected value in the combo before saving the workitem.

E.g.: Product: Product name (product_area) => Product: Product name

The advisor removes the string inside the parenthesis, so when the WorkItem is loaded after saving, CLM 6.02 compares the value in the fied "Product" with the values provided by the valueSet. Once the strings are not equal, the field is marked with a "x".

This is a new feature, is it possible to disable it?

There are no built in capabilities to fix problems created by customization through the customer. This is something you have to do on your own. There is maybe an opportunity to ask for custom services for a fee.
