Ask a question

automatic subscriptions of workitems.

Hello All,

We are using RTC 6.0.2 and exploring advance customization options.

Currently we have a business use case for automatic subscriptions of
workitems.

Is it possible in RTC to customize a way where everytime a new workitem
is created, the user is automatically subscribed to it ?

We do not want to keep default subscribers as the user might differ
from one workitem to another.

One thought is if a user creates a personal query with certain
conditions(eg: Type:Defect,Summary:xyz)

This would return the defects which part of xyz.

Now when a new defect is raised which satisfies the above conditions,
then the user should automatically be notified via e-mail.

Please suggest the possibilites available.

Thanks in Advance,
Manju

Develop a follow-up action triggered when saving work items. See
