Test execution at master plan level and report generation at the child plan
Hi,
I want to create a test suite execution record at the master plan level by linking test cases from the different child plans. I want to generate the report from the child plan with the test execution in that plan alone. This is to execute test cases from different plans for one configuration. Can someone suggest me on this and let me know if you need any further details. Thanks, Ramesh M. |

Hi Ramesh,
As of now this kind of arrangement/cross linking is not available in QM. The zist here is, even though test cases are in child plan, Test suite and TSER having these test cases will be in master plan. Once the TSER is run, child plans will not have any TCERs and Test Case Results. That's why report will also be not generated since there is no direct relationship between : 1) The test cases in the child plan to the Master plan. 2) Test Suite and TSER of Master Test Plan to the child test plans.
