Hi, I want to know if I can setup the DB2 Administration server with a local user security and then setup the WAS with a LDAP security authority?? or I need to setup the DB2/WAS both with LDAP security??

WebSphere in the Jazz context knows / cares nothing about the Jazz applications' DB2 connection.    Setup WAS for LDAP in WebSphere, DB2 for local ID.  The way I've done DB2 is to create the database(s) and grant a separate ID ( not the instance ID) CONNECT and DBADM authority, sometimes also in the SYSADM group for the instance.
