RTC-BF integration scenario: Able to create build when requested fron RTC while when trying to execute a project from BF console it show error- CRRTC3529W: The execution of Jazz Build Engine completed with a non-zero return code (RC=1).
I have configured RTC 6.0 and Build forge 8.0. I am able to successfully create builds when requested from RTC eclipse client. when I try to execute the same project from BF console its gives below error. Can anyone guild me on this issue.
OR Is it so that we can only trigger build request from RTC side and not from Build Forge console. If yes, then in what ways is this integration helpful as all the features are of JBE. In the RTC and BF integration environment, you should always trigger a build from RTC side. RTC will pass parameters such as buildResultUUID, engineUUID to BuildForge.
BuildForge provide more features than JBE. You can refer to https://jazz.net/products/rational-build-forge/ to understand those features. Choosing JBE or BuildForge depends on your business need. Comments
