Question:  After installing CLM 5.0.1, 6.0.1 or 6.0.2 evaluation installation with all default settings and running installation manager 1.8.5, Tomcat version 7.0.59 and Derby database.

Yes. Look into the documentation for changing the database vendor. You will have to use the repotools to export and import the databases.
