setting up approvals during delivery with preconditions
We defined a precondition that requires all source delivery (client) to have a resolved approval with the teamlead approving the changesets.
My question is during the delivery process when someone right mouse clicks on the source and selects deliver, choose a changeset and associate a workitem. If we know this workitem is not approved b/c its a new workitem, is there a way to set the approval request to the teamlead right then and there and submit for delivery. Currently if I hit the Finish button it fails with the error msg about requiring an approval. Seems like extra steps to have to go back to the workitem and submit for approval, and then go through the deliver process again.. I guess having that capability available during the deliver process was my question, as we have been finding this to be tedious. Along those lines having a warning during the deliver process that says "a work item with approvals is required.." and allow me to set that approval up with a teamlead before I hit submit. You aren't missing anything, we don't have proactive process enablement
