Is it possible to change the order of columns on a taskboard

Good Day,

Is it possible to change the order of the columns/states on the taskboard view of a plan? I cannot find where is this is set and would really like it to match my workflow.

I would also like to remove the state groups if possible.

In task board, the left most column is 'Planning' type work item (for eg Story), and rest are 'Execution' type work item (for eg task).

The columns can be increased for Execution type work item. You can click on Edit taskboard and perform few modifications. Screenshot below.

Thank-you very much for your response. However, I require to change the order that the states appear. For e.g. in your screenshot I would like in progress to appear after New and not after Deferred.
