Updating Existing Project Area with new Process Template
Is it possible to update an existing Project Area in RTC with new Process Template(if the new process template and previous Process template had the same name and the new process template had some more context) instead of creating a new Project with new Process Template. This was a limitation in RTC 1.0.1.1.
If the answer to the above question is NO, is there any way to move thousand of records(workitems) to the new Project area(new Process Template). I could find one way of moving/copying workitems but the limitation is you need to select only one workitem at a time to move or copy to new Project Area. What about moving the records in bulk? |

It is possible to update an existing Project Area, but it involves manipulating XML for the project area and is not trivial. Here is a description of the steps:
