How to calculate age of a work item in RTC

I have to deal with WIs ( defects or tasks) on daily basis. I am always asked for the age of a particular issue.
What I have is 'Creation date' of a WI and I need to need to calculate the age of that work item from its creation date till today. Any such functionality available ?

Your best bet will be creating an "aging report", as discussed here.

If you want the "age" to be displayed in the work item editor for viewing only, I don't think it is achievable. A similar topic is discussed here.
