Why is DNG showing the same module multiple times?

David Clark (2341150) | asked Jun 25 '16, 5:16 p.m.
We recently upgraded to DNG 6.0.2 ifix2. We have now seen on at least two different modules, the same module listed multiple times - 3 to 4 times. The link is exactly the same.
I cannot attach a picture, apparently I have not been in the group long enough.
But the current view shows the same modification date and time

All 4 have the same.

 Hi David,

We have seen this issue come through Support a couple different times, and I believe the root cause in the past has always been related to old format "Lock" data which did not get properly removed after Locks were updated to a newer format by the RDNG migration code. My suggestion for you would be to contact Rational Support and request the ReleaseInvalidLocks diagnostic and repair tool, which is able to remove the old format Lock data and prevent your modules from displaying as duplicated in the grid.

Hope this helps!

What if Kerberos is in use?  And what if LockReleaseTool in rm\admin times out?
