Big binary file always regarded as changed

David Sedlock (16112012) | asked Aug 14 '09, 11:06 a.m.
I have checked in a big binary file (5 GB) and noticed that this file now always shows up in the pending changes as unresolved, even though it is not being changed. I have delivered it to the stream and accepted it in another workspace and there too it shows up as an unresolved change. If I undo the "change" it loads the file again, but it remains shown as unresolved

I wonder if this file is defeating the check that a file has been changed.

Hello David,
did you try to repair the wks metadata?
(available in the Client Preferences page)
Thanks.
Eric.

I found something called Repair Metadata in window/preferences/Team/JazzSourceControl. Is that what you mean?

In any case nothing changed after the repair. I also unloaded and loaded the file again - it always shows as an unresolved change.

I think you're looking at a bug here. Why doesn't someone in the team test this?
