One thought is to make the query into predefined query list, which will be appear in the process configuration source.
Then you can copy the relevant query source XML to another project's process configuration to make it appear in that project area's predefined query list.

if you want to make your personal query from 'My Queries'  appear in the 'Shared Queries - Predefined' Menu -->
Go to 'Project Area - Process Configuration - Project Configuration - Configuration Data - Work Items - Predefined Queries', and just add your personal query (in 'My Queries' ) to the List there.
