I've got a few RTC projects which I manage and develop using Rational Developer for i. In addition to the source code, we have some Word documents which we'd like to manage with the RTC server as well.  Is there a way to include non-source-code items into RTC? i.e. so we can benefit from check-in / Check-out, have all the project artifacts stored in one place, etc.

Use the Web UI to access Source Control. Open the desired Stream then the desired Component. Add Folders and Files as desired. Check In/Out using Web UI.
