Husdon/Jenkins build not found in RTC build

Christine Chang (624) | asked May 05 '16, 4:26 a.m.
Hello,
Our RTC server version is 5.0.2  .  Jenkins version 1.654.

We have set up a RTC build to integrate with Jenkins jobs for driver verification.   RTC starts the build and on Jenkins, we use Ant jobs to publish or update build results. It has been working fine for long.  Recently, we started to get  "Hudson/Jenkins build not found" failure in RTC.

Checking this in detail,  we found one thing really strange.  Jenkins build was already started and it even updated the RTC build label before RTC build engine reported the problem.

This seems not to be  a issue in Jenkins latency. Looks like RTC cannot get the build on Jenkins.   Did anyone have similar issue before ?

Cheers,
Christine.

Hi Christine,

Is it that you request a build from RTC and the build request fails with "Hudson/Jenkins build not found" error message?

Thanks,
Sridevi

I have logged a defect in jazz.net Jenkins integration fails to find the Jenkins job, when requesting a build from RTC (390412).

Can you please check your server logs for any related exception trace and attach it to the workitem? Server logs can be found with instructions from - https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSYMRC_5.0.2/com.ibm.rational.clm.doc/topics/c_logfiles_loc.html?lang=en

Thanks,
Sridevi
