How do you change planning templates

 Project area created with waterfall template, wants to switch to SCRUM.  Created custom SCRUM work items but the planner is still waterfall.  Is there a way to switch the planner from Waterfall to SCRUM?  Or can we do seamless migration?

 As far as I can tell, if you have chosen a template, you can not change that decision and several of its implications any more. At least I am not aware of one. You could create a new project based on scrum and move the work items over.
