CLM Version 6.0.1 provide a new authentication type in Rational Team Concert clients – Integrated Windows Authentication.
 
Rational Team Concert clients (Eclipse client, repotools, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and others) now support Integrated Windows Authentication.

Is this usable in WEB UI too ? Therefore the "and other" clients would include the web ui.

What is needed to configure this for the WEB UI ?

No, "others" does not include the web client. I believe it includes the SCM tool and Windows shell integration as well. If I'm not mistaken, all these supported clients are based on Eclipse, into which IBM can build the functionality. The web client (browser) is a completely different story.
