Hi,

In the Work Items editor go to the 'Links' tab (in the bottom of the editor). There, in the 'Links' section, click 'Add' button and choose 'Add Depends On option'.

Hope this helps.

I would like work item 10 to depend on work item 8 being finished.

Is there a way we can display dependency information in query results?

Yes, in the context menu for the "Work Items" view you can select "Relationships...". The pop-up dialog will allow you to set which relationships you want to see.
