How to plan new version testing in Jazz
Hi,
I need to manage testing of new version.
The version contain couple of dozen of new feature. Each feature has dozens of test cases.
During the time line of testing and developing the version I will get few builds. On each build few new features in a different state will be delivered.
In addition, I have to communicate a report for each feature. So I need to know the status of each feature during the entire version timeline.(how many test were run/ how many test still to run/how many passed and how many failed)
What will be the best way to manage test for it?

In your case, I would suggest to create a test plan for each version of your product. Test cases can be reused across test plans or versions. For each test plan or version, create a timeline for the testing cycle. Finally, create test case execution records for each test case, tester, and timeline. Test case execution records can be executed for each build of the product.
